911 COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR

The Osage County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking 911 Communications Operators. Applicants must be prepared to work in a proactive law enforcement agency in busy rural setting. Osage County is located south of Topeka and southwest of Kansas City with two Federal Lakes and one State Lake. Osage County includes 7 police departments, 8 fire districts and one ambulance service that we Emergency Medical Dispatch for.

TYPE: Full Time

SALARY: $13.81

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The following is required: A high school diploma or Equivalent (GED), must be at least 18 years of age, pass the background investigation, and psychological exam. A Kansas valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, must be of good moral character, no felonies, no domestic battery conviction or diversions or certain misdemeanors. This job will require shift work, weekends and holidays.

DEPUTY SHERIFF

The applicants must be prepared to work in a proactive law enforcement agency in busy rural setting. CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE 
The Osage County Sheriff's Office is hiring a part-time (no more than 19 hour a week) custodial/maintenance position, starting pay is $10.00 per hour. This position would include custodial work at the Sheriff's Office and maintenance at the Sheriff's Office and Jail Facility.
