In the Ride Along Program the Sheriff’s office allows citizens to ride along with the deputies to see how law enforcement works. Citizens are expected to stay in the patrol vehicle unless specifically requested by the deputy the are riding with to get out. This is for the safety of the ride-along and the deputy.
