COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (OSAGE COUNTY, KS)

The Osage County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking applicants for a Communications Officer position. Applicants must be prepared to work in a proactive law enforcement agency in busy rural setting. Osage County is located south of Topeka and southwest of Kansas City with two Federal Lakes and one State Lake.
TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: $16.81/hr ($17.31/hr beginning January 1st) starting, plus benefits
Salary may increase with experience and/or qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or Equivalent (GED), must be at least 18 years of age and pass an extensive background investigation. A valid Kansas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, must be of good moral character, no felonies, no domestic battery conviction or diversions, or certain misdemeanors. This position will require shift work, weekends, and holidays.

SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER (OSAGE COUNTY, KS)

The Osage County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking applicants for a Communications Officer position. SALARY: $20.00/hr ($20.50/hr beginning January 1st) starting, plus benefits. After probation period $22.00/hr.
Salary may increase with experience and/or qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following is required: A high school diploma or Equivalent (GED), must be at least 21 years of age, pass an extensive background investigation, and psychological exam. A valid Kansas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, must be of good moral character, no felonies, no domestic battery conviction or diversions, or certain misdemeanors. This position will require shift work, weekends, and holidays.
